Breaking Music: Italodisco poliglotta!

Non bastava il tormentone estivo che ancora campeggia in cima alle classifiche. Ora arriva anche la versione pensata per il mercato anglosassone. Italodisco sbanca anche in inglese!
E non è non è una semplice traduzione del successo italiano e ce lo spiega direttamente Stash, frontman del gruppo. In fondo Italodisco ha segnato l’estate 2023 senza mezze misure. È entrata in Hit Parade in Svizzera, Lituania, Germania, Russia ed era giusto “fare il salto”. Contattati da Warner USA, i The Kolors hanno confezionato una versione inglese della hit.

Il sogno americano
Così, tra una camera d’albergo e l’altra, tra un concerto e l’altro, il gruppo ha lavorato ad una “nuova” versione del singolo. Non si tratta, infatti, di una vera traduzione: sono stati tolti i riferimenti italiani -dal basso dei Righeira al Festivalbar-, così da dare al testo un sapore più internazionale.
Ma la cosa più divertente di tutte è il fatto che siano rimasti nel tempo verbi come “resisto” e “insisto”, italianizzati di proposito. Dopo i Maneskin, dunque, un altro gruppo italiano si prepara a conquistare gli Stati Uniti.
Ad accompagnare il brano c’è anche una clip che conta già oltre 200.000 visualizzazioni su YouTube. Ed il pensiero immediato, però, è uno solo. Si fa tanto per abbattere gli stereotipi con cui l’Italia viene vista all’estero. Era proprio necessario un video del genere? Ai posteri internazionali l’ardua sentenza.
